Wade K. Dawe
Chairman

Wade K. Dawe is Chairman Linear Metals Corporation and President and Chief Executive Officer of Linear Gold Corp. Mr. Dawe has been an entrepreneur in Canadian mining and venture capital industries since 1994. With extensive contacts in the business and investment banking communities, he has worked and consulted for a number of successful publicly traded Canadian companies. Since 2004, he has raised over $100 million in equity financing. He is a founding shareholder and board member of TSX Venture listed Keeper Resources Inc., a Calgary-based producer of oil and gas, and also serves on the Board of ImmunoVaccine Technologies Inc. Mr. Dawe has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) 1992. A native of Newfoundland and Labrador, he now resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Brian MacEachen
President and Chief Executive Officer

Brian MacEachen is President and Chief Executive Officer of Linear Metals Corporation. A Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in overseeing the financial management of publicly-traded companies, Mr. MacEachen’s involvement in the mining industry has spanned over 18 years.

Brian MacEachen has served as the Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Linear Gold Corp. and Linear Metals Corporation since January 2004 and June 2006, respectively. Prior to this, his experience includes senior positions with Franco-Nevada Mining Corporation and Aur Resources Inc. Brian worked with a team that successfully advanced exploration stage projects through to commercial production with involvement in directing the feasibility, engineering, project financing and construction related to the advancement of projects in both North America, and South America.

While Treasurer with Franco-Nevada Mining Corporation Limited from 1998 to 1999, he was involved in the management of Franco-Nevada’s and its sister company's (Euro-Nevada) mining royalties and operations throughout the world. Serving as Treasurer of Aur Resources Inc. from 1990 to 1998, he was part of a team that successfully developed and operated the world-class Louvicourt Mine in north-western Quebec and the Andacollo mine in north-central Chile. He has been a director of Avalon Ventures Ltd. since 1998 and Ucore Uranium Inc. since 2005.

A native of Ontario, Mr. MacEachen earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University and resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Robert Page
Vice President of Exploration

Dr. Robert (Bob) Page joined Linear Metals Corporation as a recognized expert on hydrothermal ore deposits including porphyry copper, base and precious metal skarns, carbonate hosted polymetallic deposits, and volcanic hosted epithermal gold deposits.

Dr. Page has 30 years of international exploration experience. Most recently, he was Chief Geologist – Copper for Noranda Inc./Falconbridge Limited.

Dr. Page is fluent in Spanish and his international experience includes work in Mexico, USA, China, Mongolia, Turkey and Ireland, including all stages of exploration from project generation through feasibility studies.

Keith Abriel
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Keith Abriel is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA charterholder with more than 12 years experience in financial management and reporting, corporate finance, treasury, strategic planning, and human resources in a broad range of sectors, including the resource sector.

Prior to joining Linear, Mr. Abriel spent 9 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he was responsible for the delivery of various assurance, taxation and corporate finance services to a diverse portfolio of both public and private entities, including a number of successful Initial Public Offerings.

Mr. Abriel worked with J.D. Irving, Limited’s Treasury Department from 2002 to 2004 and was responsible for a broad range of financial reporting, strategic planning and corporate treasury functions. While with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, in 1999, Mr. Abriel transferred to the Cayman Islands office and worked for 3 years in the financial services sector, including a contract with UBS AG.

Mr. Abriel has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University and resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Dr. Michael Gross (1)
Independent Director

A full professor of surgery at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia for the past 14 years, Dr. Gross is also the Medical Director for the QE II Health Sciences Centre Tissue Bank, the largest comprehensive tissue bank in Canada. In addition, he offers consultation to the orthopaedic appliance industry and holds patents on devices in reconstructive orthopaedic surgery.

Dr. Gross has served on the boards of directors of two publicly-traded companies. He joined the Linear Gold Corp. Board of Directors in 2002.

He received his degree in medicine from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in England in 1975. He obtained a Fellowship in Surgery in London, England in 1979 and a Canadian Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery in 1981.

Ken Z. Cai (2)
Independent Director

Dr. Cai has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Minco Mining & Metals Corporation since February 2006. Dr. Cai holds a Ph.D. in mineral economics from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Cai, a Chinese national now living in Canada, has 20 years of experience in mineral exploration, project evaluation, corporate financing and company management. Dr. Cai has been responsible for negotiating property agreements in China on behalf of Minco Mining & Metals Corporation, through his contacts in the Chinese mining communities. Dr. Cai has served as a director of several publicly traded and private Canadian and Chinese companies. He is currently also the president and CEO of Minco Silver Corporation.

Carl Sheppard (1,2)
Independent Director

Mr. Sheppard is the president and partner of Strategic Concepts, Inc., a business planning and advisory company. At Strategic Concepts, Inc., Mr. Sheppard is responsible for the company's strategic planning, economic modeling and financial feasibility consulting services. He has provided consulting services to numerous new and expanding resource development companies, including De Beers Canada, Iron Ore Company of Canada, Inco Limited, Voisey’s Bay Nickel Company Limited, New Millennium Capital, Husky Energy and Chevron Canada. Mr. Sheppard has a Masters of Development Economics from Dalhousie University, a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree from York University’s Glendon College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.
