Good day folks and I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a prosperous New year in 2009.
Had a conversation with Brent and asked him some questions regarding BMK plans etc... for 2009.
Q 1- based on the drill results at Mcnugget and the acquisition of the "Bob Lake Area" property, I was wondering if BMK is loosing interest in ROF?
A 1- Absolutely NOT. We are simply expanding our interests as an exploration company. We are also looking at the fact that at Bob Lake area there is infrastructure which enables easier access for equipment and people movement. This means that we can drill approximately 3 holes for the cost of 1 at ROF.
Secondly, the Bob lake area property has similar signature to ROF, and we have identified some excellent targets.
Q 2- In light of the poor results at MCnugget, are you abandoning this property?
A 2- No as we indicated in the last NR we are resuming drilling in around March 2009 and are going to start at Mcnugget where we still have some very promising targets identified. Then we have several targets at the other locations such as Hornby and Wellington and so on. But, with these economic times, we are very selective on where to proceed in the most cost effective manner. Not that we are not always frugal with investor moneys.
Q 3- Again, because of coming up empty on Mcnugget, are you going to focus your attention on the Bob Lake area instead of ROF.
A 3- No, what we are doing is focusing on both areas with equal interest. As we indicated in our NR we are planning a drill program starting around March 2009 in both the Bob Lake Area as well as in the ROF. Most likely starting at Mcnugget.
Q 4- In one of your previous NR you have indicated that you are locating conductors with much more accuracy. How is it then that you came up empty on the McNugget?
A 4- We validated every target conductor that we drilled. It is troublesome that we did not hit mineralization of economic value, but we are reviewing all the data and comparing signatures with the likes of Noront Eagle 1 and others.
Q 5- It is interesting to note that SPQ and NOT are coming up with significant amounts of Cr among other minerals in significant amouts, and BMK is not, why is that?
A 5- We are not drilling in their close proximity for one thing. When we drill Hornby we should show the same or more. Can't say until we drill it. Also note, that we have not yet completed our drilling on all the targets already identified on the McNugget property
Q 6- Are you going to release an NR detailing your drill program and when?
A 6- Yes, we are probably going to release an NR end of Jan mid Feb.
