Potash - The next hot sector

posted on Nov 18, 09 02:05AM

The US dollars is being devalued and investors are turning to hard assets. Gold, Silver, Oil, Potash are all great stories.

Gold - Over $1130 - One year ago under $750

silver - Over $18.00 - One year ago under $10

Oil - Near $80 per barrel - One year ago under $60

Potash - $480 FOB Vancouver - One year ago $862

I'm not expecting Potash to go back to $1000, but the outlook does remain healthy. People need to eat and farmers need to use fertilizers to maximize the output from the fields. You can only rotate you crops so long!

Just look at the markets today. when George Soros buys POT, others will follow. Even Cramer is saying that the Potash sector the next big thing.

POT + 7.04%

AGU + 3.81%

MOS + 5.77%

WPX + 5.75%

KCL + 8.68%

K+S + 4.50%

This would be a perfect time to move on the press release. The sector has the attention of the media, and this deal, well timed and heavily announced (BNN, Globe and Mail etc) would do wonders on the SP and its upward momentum.
