Let's face facts. The gasoline (and diesel) engine will continue to be dominant worldwide for years to come. I'm a big believer and user of renewable energies but you can't power a car with a windmill or a solar panel (yet). Newer technologies are still too expensive to sell to the poorest world consumers and oil will continue to dominate for years to come.
