Maxim Announces Filing of Reserves Data
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 1, 2009) - Maxim Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:MXM)(OTCBB:MXMSF)(FRANKFURT:... has filed a Reserves Data and Other Oil and Gas Information for the year ended December 31, 2008, which contains additional information on Maxim's reserves as required under National Instrument 51-101 Standards of Disclosure for Oil and Gas Activities.

Maxim has also amended its previously filed Reserves Data and Other Oil and Gas Information for the year ended December 31, 2007 to conform with the requirements of National Instrument 51-101.

Copies of the Reserves Data and Other Oil and Gas Information for the years ended December 31, 2008 and December 31, 2007 can be accessed electronically through the SEDAR system at www.sedar.com.

Maxim is a Vancouver based exploration company with producing oil and gas properties in the Gulf of Mexico and Trinidad.
