YO!! Thers GOLD in them dar hills at McFaulds…..I’ am sure many of you have noticed/wondered as to why such a large number of claims have been recently staked in the North East to North West part of McFaulds.. Many companies, some new, and includes NOT, have recently staked claims in that area…Also notice BMK has extended it’s Big Mac claims, to encompass the North Eastern edge running along going North Westerly…A very interesting and not too well known factoid about McFaulds is, in addition to the minor Au, Ag contained in NOT’s discovery holes, there exists in the above noted area of McFaulds, a distinct and real potential for hosting Gold deposits…that was originally, one of the reasons I bought BMK last year… Anomalous samples of Gold , some native grains, and alluvial Gold, had been found by BMK, in what they named the Gold trail.…In this case at McFaulds, the alluvial Gold could be said to be a result of a Flood Plain, water is/was obviously present there, also in part caused by melting glaciers…Since the Gold described is NOT very fine or pure in content, since it incorporates till/mud, we can reasonably conclude that it did not travel very far from it’s source, otherwise if the source was much further away, the erosion/whethering processes would have resulted in a much purer /smaller/finer Gold…some grab samples yielded as high as 1.5 gms of Gold…some samples yielded grains Gold…A quick look see at the Old Geological maps of that area, showed that a “late” pluton has intruded around/trhu that area and heads south west, towards the NOT discovery…Gold mineralization is sometimes associated with these “late” Plutons that tend to accumulate/remobilize the Gold along it’s fractured zones, Hydrothermally transported/distriibuted and/ or as a skarn zones, from interaction with country rock, or intermingled with banded Iron Formations… The Meteor Impact Theory also could equally apply in this Gold region of McFaulds ..I am/have been preparing a special post on the potentials for Geological Genesis of McFaulds using some of the existing known evidence/data/information to date, and then analyze/compare the two. The Natural Processes of Earth Theory versus Extra Terrestrial Meteor Impact Theory, wherein I will go into a bit more details/comparisons as to the implications for Gold and other types of deposits “zoning” at McFaulds under said theories/ conditions…This Gold trail as best as I can estimate at this stage, begins a few miles south of BMK’s Big Mac property, at about the centre Eastern edge of McFaulds, recently staked/extended/widened,to the North Eastern portion of the circle edge, then going Westerly along the North edge…You may also notice that NOT ,and others have recently staked numerous claims in/around that area as well… SPQ JV KWG have recently staked a good number of claims in that area, just below BMK’s Big Mac, using the “diagnos” system technology, the same “diagnos’ system that was used to pin point NOT’s Spectacular Ni Cu PGEs deposit…In a recent conversation with Mr. N. Novak I specifically asked what SPQ was looking for in said new claims…Mr. Novak declined to respond my question , which leads me to believe that it is GOLD, since Gold’s existence/occurence is not known to many, as occuring in that part of McFaulds, and I now believe Mr. Novak may have wanted to keep it quiet until all staking was done…..It will probably come as something of a surprise to many here that the Musselwhite Gold mine, now being mined near McFaulds, is about 60 Kms West from BMK’s MacNnuget property…Musselwhite contains about 2 to 3 Mill ounces of Gold at a cost of $350 per ton to mine…The Musselwhite deposit is intermingled within an Iron Banded formation, which also exist at McFaulds… It may also be of great interest to some, that Goldcorp, who owns a good chunk of said mine, was then under it’s former CEO Rob McEwen who I understand was instrumental in finding said Gold deposit…It is little wonder then that Mr. McEwen wanted in with BMK at McFaulds, with the potential for Nu PGEs Cu and Gold……I would say then in conclusion that all the above noted reasons amount to cogent evidence for the presence of Gold in The McFaulds area and probably Gold deposits at McFaulds…Below is a link that will show an older Map of this Gold trail courtesy of BMK..All of course as usual… IMCO…JDhttp://johnduff13.myphotoalbum.com/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album01&id=BMK_gold_ass …
