Merit Mining Corp. Grants Stock Options

July 29, 2010 – Vancouver, British Columbia. Merit Mining Corp. (TSX-V: MEM) (the “Company”) announces the grant of 1,600,000 stock options, effective July 28, 2010, to directors, officers, employees, consultants, and advisors of the Company. The options, which are subject to the terms of the Company’s stock option plan, are exercisable prior to July 28, 2018, at an exercise price of $0.89 per share.
