VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 10, 2010) - Merit Mining Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MEM) (the "Company") announces that Mr. Fred Sveinson has resigned as the President & Chief Executive Officer of the Company to pursue other interests. Mr. Deli Tian, the Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors, will temporarily assume the office of Chief Executive Officer while the Company searches for a suitable candidate to fill the positions vacated by Mr. Sveinson.
