Merit Mining Corp. Engages NAI Interactive Ltd. to Provide Investor Relations Services

September 29, 2010 – Vancouver, British Columbia. Merit Mining Corp. (TSX-V: MEM) (the
“Company”) announces that it has engaged NAI Interactive Ltd. (“NAI”) to provide investor
relations services to the Company under a 12 month contract, at a fee for services of
US$5000.00 per month, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.

Under the terms of the agreement, NAI will update and provide Merit’s website and other
Company investor relations information to the investment community through its online, print media, telephone, and in-person out reach programs and will assist the Company in a corporate re-branding.
