MÉTANOR ANNOUNCES A FIRST CLOSING OF A PRIVATE PLACEMENT
DECEMBER 24, 2007 - VAL-D'OR, QUEBEC, CANADA: Metanor Resources Inc. ("Metanor" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has done on December 21, 2007 a first closing of the previously announced private placement, for 4,587,469 Flow Through Common Shares at the price of $0.80 each, for gross proceeds of $3,669,975.20.
