Midlands Minerals Warrant Term Extension

TORONTO, ONTARIO - Dec. 18, 2008 - Following an application for warrant extensions by Midlands Minerals Corporation (TSX VENTURE:MEX - News), the TSX Venture Exchange has consented to the extension in the expiry date of 3,122,500 share purchase warrants which were issued pursuant to a private placement of 6,245,000 shares on June 14, 2007. The warrants, which were due to expire on December 14, 2008, have been extended to June 14, 2012 with the exercise price unchanged at 50 cents.
