Effective January 31, 2009, New Guinea Gold ("the Company") has appointed BDO Dunwoody LLP, Chartered Accountants ("BDO") as the Auditors for the Company. The Co will be working with the Vancouver office of BDO and co-ordinating the audit function with the Company's Queensland operations office, the Company's Papua New Guinea auditors and the Australian-based office of BDO which, over the years, has valuable experience in working relationships with the mining industry in Canada, Australia and Papua New Guinea

A couple of days ago I asked NGG if they were back mining and processing gold in January / Feb 2009 after > 'no gold was produced in the second half of December due to security reasons and Christmas / New Year holiday period.' Is it unreasonable to hope for an answer?

Anyone know what the security reasons were? Jan is in the wet season - has this had any effect on production?

I'd be interested in investing more but want some confirmation of the company's progress this year.
