Sounds interesting. Maybe an impact many hundreds of miles (kilometers) away was the catalyst for unleashing the forces of nature in this area. Existing stresses and strains unhinged resulting in a catastrophic event here in what we are now calling the "Ring of Fire". Dr. Mungall will most definitely have much input on the matter when the NI 43 - 101 eventually is finished and made public. NOW! that will be one very fine read! Old Joe
