Trying to prevent a takeover bid?

posted on Apr 01, 08 10:32AM

A question for those who know more than I. Is it possible that NOT and the rest of the Mcfaulds players are dragging their feet with drill results in order to stave off a premature lowball takeover with the current (hopefully temporary) downturn in commodities?

ie: If more than one of the mcfaulds players releases stellar results, one of the majors may launch a takeover bid at what pretty much everybody here seems to think is an undervalues SP.

Just wondering if this is something they might do. I'm pretty new at this.
