The ring of Fire is in a malaise. Thats the only way to describe it. In the last thirty days, FWR is down 29%, KWG down 30% and NOT down 31%. The markets in the last thirty days are basically at the same level, hovering around 10,500. So why didn't we hover around the same level? Yet, in this same period, nickel increased from $6/lb to $7/lb, Copper $2.10 to $2.30, and chrome from $0.159 to $0.172. These are our commodities, They have all increased and we have gone down.
Since Feb, NOT has had five ore related press releases, all on chrome except for an update and a release on vanadium. FWR has had five ore related releases as well, three related to chrome, one on vanadium and one on geophysics. KWG has had one release on geophysics. People invest in what is in the ground and ROF has had nothing of consequence released for a long time to get people excited. Some blame the BOD for lack of news, but it is a problem with all the companies up there when it relates to ore related news. We are so disillusioned that there is rarely a complaint about the labs anymore on this board.
On the junior markets, a company of interest is commonly called a "play" Well, we have been played out and we are truly in a "malaise." Markets are reviving, prices are reviving but we are diminishing. The logistics of mining what we have discovered to this point in time outstrip the value of the commodities we can reasonably measure. We need those eleven drills spinning and providing stellar information to the markets via anyone. I don,t care if it's Joe, Paul, Wes, Tom, Dick or Harry who tells the shareholders. We need a press release that has concrete assays that proves wealth and regains our status as a hot play and generates that race to get back in.
