I just got off the phone with JJ. She was very pleasant and great to talk to. She instructed to post that all are welcomed to call and she would be happy to discuss any issue you may have.
Here are a few points we discussed:
Her first thoughts on Wes are very positive. She likes working with him, he is very enthusiastic, has many great ideas and is very excited to be with Noront. He just came back from the camp this morning at 10am. He is working from home today but they are working together all day tomorrow to plan the next 3-4 months of activity. He will be approacheable to all investors by phone, email etc...he is very open to discussing the company.
The cores from Eagle 1 at depth including hole 49 were shipped rush and asked to be analyzed rush. There is no way that she can predict the timing of the assays but was very clear that they want these assay results asap. Part of the reason is they want no leaks but also, they need the info to guide their drilling at Eagle 1. They will not issue a NR on further visuals of hole 49...they will wait for assays.
Noront does not pick title of NR...stockwatch does and explains why titles often do not reflect the true value of the information.
There will be another luncheon update for retail in August, date and further details to be determined.
Hole 49 was a last minute addition to the NR update and could not of been included if they waited for a detailed visual report. However, the mineralization is considerable and to prevent leaks, wanted this information out to the public asap.
She was very easy to talk to and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. She is now an officer of the company and as such has to follow strict guidelines to information-this was the same as before but now she has access to probably more information where before she may not have all the details. I believe going forward, she will be a great asset for Noront and for us retail shareholders.
