I guess this is in the category of idle speculation but it has occurred to me that at today's prices NOT could take over FWR by issuing about 25M shares of NOT. It does make me wonder a bit. NOT has said they are interested in acquisitions. Taking over FWR would knock out a potential competitor for the North American chromium market and it does look like FWR shares are being held down (for some reason?). It could be good for NOT and for the shareholders of FWR. 25M shares added to NOT's present shares outstanding seems doable. Anyway like I said just idle speculation - too much spare time on my hands tonight.
