Yes. Actually its called responsibility and Hub Leader are suppose to keep some sembalance of the board adhering to the 6 rules. I've done it a total of twice in the past two years. The post violated the rules and was out of character so I exercised that responsibility.

If you look at my post history you will see that I tend to avoid the politics and the hype and try to focus on value added DD. Not always but most of the time.

As to deleting posts on the FWR board I can't because I'm not a Hub Leader. Agoracom manages the site.

If you are concerned about my actions maybe should PM the person in question and ask him his opinion of my actions since I did the follow ups at his request.
