Zooloo, The nickel ore is the darling of Noront's possessions and not the chromite.

As you say Notont chromite practically worthless if Xstrata buys out FWR, hence it is potentially an anvil around Noront's neck and if it were absent the nickel part of the assets would appreciate in price more. In that case I see someone else buying the nickel resource. In other words, yes Noront sold off in pieces. That is how I see it.

With one chromite body near worthless if the other company establishes a mine on it's own, can anyone find a better reason for joining the two before that happens?
