Late this afternoon I decided to call the Noront office. A pleasant young lady whose
name I have forgotten answered the telephone. I identified myself as a shareholder
and asked if she could answer a couple of questions. Long story short she did not
engage in conversation but redirected my call to JJ.
I asked JJ when can we expect a news release. As per usual she stated that she could
not be specific but it would be "very soon." I asked if this meant a day, a week, or if it
meant not until December 1st. She intimated that releases would be forthcoming before
December 1st. I asked if she could discuss the nature of the news. She said it could be
a combination of exploration news, & updates re the FWR scenario. She said that she is
not permitted to be more specific than she was.
I stated that my entire lifes savings were not tied up in Noront, but that I was
concerned about the share price. She emphatically replied that there was no "negative
news" from Noront that would impact the share price. She said that it was market
forces. If I possesed the knowledge of The Hoov, or Glorieux I would have engaged her
further on this....... I did ask her pointedly if her "no Negative news" applied to the
pending news as well, and she repeated that there was no negative news from Noront.
I asked her how she viewed the inverse relationship between the FWR and NOT share
price. She was adamant that the FWR share price is presently inflated solely because of
the Noront offer. I sensed tht JJ probably wanted to say more but is going by the book.
She did say that she hoped that the coming news release(s) would make me happy.
This was a congenial conversation and I am really waiting with great anticipation for
good if not great news before December1st.
