It's hard to imagine this rumour having any credibility. How would Mac take an offer of .60 seriously just to get away from NOT? How would anyone take a .60/sh offer for billions of dollars worth of Cr, to say nothing of what else they will find. No one on the FWR board, based on printed expectations, would consider the measly .60. The only thing I could imagine is that this amount would be expected to be turned into something much larger to be able to take it away from NOT. Presently NOT's offer is far superior.
