Interesting little flurry at the end of the day to determine the closing price. Todays end of the day seems opposite of what happened at the end of the day two days ago before yesterdays run up. Today they kept hitting the bid of $2.30 and the bid would get refilled, like someone did not want it to go down further. Two days ago the ask kept getting hit at $1.50 only to be replenished preventing the close from going higher than $1.50.

My question is, why?
