I don`t come here much anymore,as the "wishing it into reality" posts are just not helpful,but every now and then i check a few just to see if anything pragmatic or logical shows up.
I`ll expect something realistic in the ROF, as some financial news outlets have stated,by 2015/2016,PROVIDING three things happen;
The First Nations are satisfied.NOTHING happens until THAT happens.And remember,they`ve got the United Nations backing them.And Canada is still afraid of the UN
You need look no further than BeBeers to see what a concern natives can be to ANY prospective mining company that you`re hoping will step in.DeBeers gave the natives free homes to live in,hires,trains and employs natives before any one else,and then the natives promptly thanked them by taking the access road hostage and shutting DeBeers down for a while
Second,Dalton McQuinty then keeps his campaign promise and develops countless jobs upon developing the ROF.You won`t have any trouble with the Prime Minister
And just as importantly,the world isn`t in a depression due to Europe by the time the first two things happen, and metal prices remain where they are today at the very least.
Oh,and also,hard to believe,but...gasp!...there are unscrupulous people out there, in charge,working behind the scenes on Wall Steet for THEIR own good,not OURS !(What ARE those animals from places like Enron doing for a living these days anyway ? Oh yeah,that`s right,they`re speculators now in the stock market)
Good luck gang,here`s hoping something substantial happens before then,but i wouldn`t be spending the expected profits just yet.It`ll happen eventually,it has to,but probably not in the time line we`d like it to.More likely in the time line most financial sites say it will.
Here`s to hoping i`m wrong ( and there`s hope,as it sure as hell wouldn`t be the first time :))
