Message: Noront interested in Cliffs’ Ring of Fire assets

The president and CEO of Noront expressed a definite interest in Cliffs’ assets, but cautioned there have been no direct talks with Cliffs regarding the acquisition of its chromite claims on its Black Thor, Big Daddy and Black Label discoveries, but should the Ohio miner initiate a sales process, “we would be first in line.”

This one’s a good one too...

He sounds extremely confident that no one else will be able to jump the line on the Cliff’s claims.

How could he be so confident? Wouldn't anyone be able to bid on the Cliffs claims, if they come up for sale?

& did Coutts really have to state… “2 bil for mining investment”? Flexing muscle can be good for shareholders! No?

So, a company that has one potentially huge "Flagship" Eagles Nest mine in the ROF & $2 bil in investment dollars in hand. A person may start to think that it will be investment in buying more claims in the area. No??

A long with "regarding the acquisition of its chromite claims". Is that a suggestion or an only way out for Cliffs?

Any of you “long Notties” with the knowledge to turn $2 bil. into a share price for the Cliffs & KWG claims?

This may just have the potential of one Hell of a bidding War? No???

Hebe
