Sometimes the reporter is just wrong.

Rachelle Younglai, the Globe's mining reporter has seldom written about the Ring of Fire.

Not to defend her, but it is a very complicated subject with lots of twists and turns.

So mistakes happen.

The provincial government has definitely stated that it is prepared to "go alone."
