Work on the airstrip is planned for fall/winter 2014 and will be completed under an approved land use plan with Noront's development partner Marten Falls Logistics (a 100%-owned entity of Marten Falls First Nation).

Looks like the new/renew airport is a go to be permanent all year round . No more ice/lake landings. Notice the " under an approved " . Build it and they will come! . All we need is the provincial jackasses to get a move on about our E/A . Looks like the feds are doin their part in a timely fashion.
