Actually I remember reading this a few years ago and their website used to have an average hold period of 3-5 years, along with the same caveats of time and opportunity.

Now it says approx 4 years as the shortest time frame. It probably just reflects the day and age of this particular cycle.

The main point was that as shareholders it is good to know when the largest one is going to potentially exit.
