Babjak is dead on, except I believe the FN do understand the consequence but also anticipated the reaction and saw benefit in pursuing the course of action. Look at the sell off. Weak hands coming in on news, selling off now on FN noise. Who benefits? Those buying.

Ever since Cliffs announced they were pulling out, the play has only been about getting the ROF assets for pennies on the dollar. That has been accomplished now. The govermental in fighting, the FN in fighting and the corporate speak from both camps got the deal done. It was all noise. Noront got the ROF assets for nothing, and Cliffs are getting out of Canada poorer yes, but with limited bad PR. It was all noise to an end. Now every thing that was being done behind the noise can come to the fore front, aligned and ready to go. A few shares need to change hands first, as usual.
