Well, you...and others seem to think that you can just do your calculations of what you want and if it stacks up in the cost effectiveness category you can go and get it. The problem is that it's what the south wants from the north, so you've gotta pay the north their due. If you don't like their price go somewhere else to find your billions of dollars of wealth. I think it will be quite cost effective to give the FN their due and also a demonstration of some class and character to do so, mending what should have been taken care of a long time ago. You also miss the point that this isn't just about "our grandfathers" therefore exempting us from personal responsibility. The attitudes and marginalizing of FN has never stopped and continues to this day as this site clearly demonstrates.

As for us not being responsible for for water contamination etc. you might want to do a little research on this.
