I think there's a bug in the board here. I've never seen this happen before, but if you click on my previous post directly, it shows up with no problem. However, if you try to scroll through earlier posts and forward past mine with the "next message" button, mine is skipped. Yet if you scroll backwards with the "prev message" button, the message is NOT skipped.

Very odd. My coding background makes me wonder if it's a time-stamp issue somehow, with two messages being posted at "exactly" the same time and the database pointers being corrupted as two messages were processed almost simultaneously by two separate running processes.

I suspect it would be very difficult for the coding team to isolate or replicate. But again, it's not something that appears to be a common problem.

I'll mention this to Agoracom, but I don't think it's anything that they need to be too concerned about.
