I expect Noront is held up by the same backroom deals that delay the announcement of coming infrastructure, to allow access to the ring, that all parties wait for.  I expect Noront has some drilling result assays that have not been released yet from the last 6 months or so.  I expect Noront wants to continue to research what their claims hold in terms of gold as this will be just extra cream.  I expect there will be a rapid fire series of announcements coming after the plan for road access is released.  I expect Noront will have some great news and they are just moving forward as best as they can by piling more future riches on the pile.  We know there is likely somewhere between 60 billion and 600 billion trapped in the ring unless Smeenk is delusional which I doubt...."The major mineral in the Ring of Fire is chromite. We estimate that there is as much as $600 billion of chromite buried there."

I expect this is not an 'if' but a 'when'.

We could see from Carr's announcement at PDAC that the province and feds are just itching to get this thing going......"That’s why NRCanada will be joining the province of Ontario to release new geology maps and related data from the Ring of Fire," he said." This information will allow junior mining companies to explore the rich mineral area leading to enduring jobs and prosperity for the indigenous people in the area, the people of Ontario and Canada".

I expect this is all they could say at this point and I expect that when whatever backroom deals being worked on are done that the chains will be removed from our politicians to allow them to bask in the glory of the glow of the burning ring.
