Liberal MP says feds still committed to Ring of Fire

The federal government is reaffirming its commitment to the Ring of Fire. FedNor Minister Navdeep Bains made the commitment while in North Bay. Nipissing-Timiskaming MP Anthony Rota says although the feds still support the chromite project, there’s a process to follow. Rota says the project is coming together, and as long as people are willing to keep talking, the project is moving in the right direction. The Ring of Fire can create about 5,000 jobs and is expected to generate $2 billion in tax revenue.
