Richard Nemis was an amazing person that I had the privilege to know. I took this picture of him and his daughter the night he and his colleagues were being honoured for the discovery of Canada's newest mining camp, the Ring of Fire.

To #RichardNemis - God willing it's in good hands - Noront Resources to be delisted from TSX-V #FirstNations #Wyloo #onpoli Stockwatch https://bit.ly/3uuInOb

While it is sad for many that Noront is being delisted, the first nickel deposit will finally be built by Wyloo, benefiting the surrounding First Nations communities, the entire province and country for many, many decades to come. A lasting legacy of Nemis and his colleagues.

Great photo Stan. What a history and how many tales could be told about the Ring of Fire discovery. Richard would be proud.
