Noront Resources Management

Mr. Wesley (Wes) C. Hanson

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Hanson was formerly Vice President Mine Development for Western Goldfields, before the recent announcement of its business combination with New Gold Inc. and he previously held the position of Vice President, Technical Services for Kinross Gold Corporation. Mr. Hansen has held several senior positions in the mining industry throughout his 25 year career, where he has been directly involved in the engineering construction and commissioning of numerous mining projects in Canada, the US, Brazil, Chile and Russia. Mr. Hanson has a Bachelor of Science, Geology from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada.

James Atkinson

Director of Exploration

Mr. Atkinson Is the Exploration Manager for Noront's Ontario projects mainly focusing on the Ring of Fire. He is a seasoned manager with extensive experience designing and supervising large exploration programs including projects in several foreign countries and in all Canadian provinces. He has been responsible for managing exploration camps with over 100 staff including regional offices for mining companies and engineering consulting companies. Mr. Atkinson has spent over 30 years in mineral exploration, mining and consulting attaining positions of Vice President of Exploration and Exploration Manager with junior and major mining companies. His experience includes working with multiple projects for large clients, including the development and raising of financing requirements in Toronto and Vancouver for companies with interests in exploration projects mainly for Platinum Group Metals in North and South America and Europe.

Prior to joining Noront Mr. Atkinson was senior Project Manager for a large Canadian consulting engineering firm. Mr. Atkinson has a B.Sc. from Brock University and a M. Sc. from the University of Toronto and is a Professional Geoscientist and Qualified Person in Ontario.

Gregory R. Rieveley

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Rieveley is a finance executive with 10 years experience in the mining and retail industries. Previously he held the position of Vice President, Internal Audit and Business Development of Harry Winston Diamond Corporation (formerly Aber Diamond Corporation), and prior to that he was the Controller for Dundee Precious Metals a mid sized copper and gold producer.

Mr. Rieveley is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.

John Harvey

Chief Operating Officer

Formerly Executive Vice President, Mr. Harvey has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Noront.

Mr. Harvey worked with Noranda Inc. from the early 1960s and was President of Noranda Exploration from 1982 until his early retirement in 1994. He was also President of Hemlo Gold Mines from 1989 until 1992. Before Noranda, Mr. Harvey was VP Exploration for Mattagami Lake Mines which merged with Noranda in 1982.

Jeremy Niemi

Vice President, Geology

Mr. Niemi is a geologist with more than 13 years experience in the mining/resource industry, both at Corporate and Operational level. His work spans the gold and base metal industries throughout the Americas. He started his career with Inco Technical Services Limited in 1996 working on the Victor Deep project in the Sudbury basin. Following this he worked on mining and exploration projects throughout the world as a consultant with Datamine Canada and subsequently as an independent consultant.

Mr. Niemi was most recently, Manager, Technical Services, for Kinross Gold Corporation, in the Toronto Corporate Office. He is a member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, and holds a B.Sc. Honours degree in Earth Sciences from Laurentian University.

David Graham

Vice-President, Special Projects

Mr Graham joined the board of Noront in December 2006, and has been appointed Vice-President, Special Projects for Noront.

In 1986 Mr. Graham became President of R. Bruce Graham and Associates Ltd. a mining consulting firm that has served the mineral industry since 1956. Mr. Graham has over twenty five years of experience in the industry and has served as a director and manager of a number of private and public natural resource and mining concerns.

His relevant experience has been in the fields of base and precious metals, uranium and industrial minerals and materials. Mr. Graham has worked in Canada, the United States, Scandinavia and Africa.

James E. Mungall

Consultant

Dr. Mungall has been Chief Geologist of Noront Resources since 2007. Dr. Mungall has recently resumed his previous duties at the University of Toronto as Associate Professor. Dr. Mungall will continue to provide important strategic advice to Noront as a Consultant.

Dr. Mungall's professional experience has included consulting and research work on magmatic Ni-Cu-Co-PGE deposits, chromitite, magmatic Fe-Ti-V and IOCG and rareelement granites.

Dr. Mungall received M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees from McGill University and has worked extensively in the exploration business as a consultant since 1996. In 1999 he was appointed Assistant Professor of Economic Geology at the University of Toronto. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2005 and was named Norman Keevil Chair of Ore Genesis in 2007.

He has published extensively on the magmatic sulfide deposits of the Sudbury and Raglan camps and has edited four books or special journal issues on Ni-Cu-Co-PGE deposits.

Joanne C. Jobin

Vice President, Corporate Communications / Corporate Secretary

Ms. Jobin began her career in the investor relations industry with Barrick Gold in 1986, where she helped to develop its early investor relations and corporate communications programs. Ms. Jobin has worked in the natural resources sector and managed the investor relations and communications programs for a number of large publicly traded companies including J.P. Morgan & Co., Canadian Tire Corporation, HEPCOE Credit Union and she was also Director of Investor Relations for IAMGOLD Corporation. She is the co-founder of The F.I.R.M. a company focused on investor relations marketing for public companies with interests in the natural resource sectors.
