For bringing new shareholders to Noront's stock. But not from NOT, from the brokers who sell us the shares of course. And why NOT ? They're making anywhere from $6.00-$29.00 a trade on everyone we bring to them. So, I figure my fee to them should be 5% of everything my broker gets from my referrals, for one year, 2% for the second year and then 1% for the next three years, after which the broker keeps everything. That's my deal. take it or no more referrals, mr. broker.
I was up at the annual Collingwood ElvisFest on the weekend (6th year in a row) and hopefully attracted a few more people to NOT (one of my Elvis friends and some people whom I just met). They were very impressed with what I told them about NOT.
By the way, the ElvisFest was terrific. Lots of talent up there. Gets better every year. Although there are always a few of them that are so bad, you wonder why they do it. For the love of Elvis, I guess. Anyways, lots of people, lots of great music, lots of Elvis's, a lot of partying and not much sleep....
