In August 2002, Mr. Desjardins took the reins as President and CEO of North American Gem Inc. and since his appointment, he has sourced and secured a number of joint venture projects for the company. Charles has over 20 years experience working with and managing public companies.
Mr. Livgard is a graduate of the University of B.C. in geology and has worked in the field for 40 years. His experience ranges from exploration, property evaluation, and mining geology to mine management. In the past 20 years he has acted as a consultant to companies requiring reports for regulatory authorities in B.C., Alberta and Ontario. Mr. Egil Livgard is also interested in the related field of hydrometallurgy and bio leaching.
Mr. Lock was welcomed to the Board of Directors in February 2003. Mr. Bruce Lock has over twelve years experience in the public markets, acting as a director and officer of a number of other public companies.
