North American Tungsten, along with Geodex Minerals, is hosting a tungsten forum during the PDAC. The idea is to promote the strategic nature of tungsten by tungsten companies in a non-profiteering way.

The idea of a "Talking Tungsten Forum" was developed as we knew that there was a need to bring industry experts, company professionals and retail investors together to educate people of the strategic and critical nature of tungsten as a commodity, focusing on the global supply/demand market fundamentals.

Our first Forum, held in Vancouver during early October '08, was a success. Keynote speakers such as Tungsten specialist Nikki Adshead-Bell PH.D (VP Investment Banking, Haywood Securities, Vancouver), Chris Thompson (Analyst, Haywood Securities Vancouver Inc.), Newsletter Writer David Coffin (HRA Advisories) and tungsten industry experts from North American Tungsten, Geodex Minerals and Oriental Minerals made this forum successful.

Approximately 50 people attended including fund managers, brokers, private investors and representatives from other tungsten companies.

At the next forum, scheduled for the 3rd March at the Intercontinental during the PDAC, we expect the amount of attendees to increase over threefold. The forum will be promoted during the PDAC opening ceremony and on various media avenues such as BNN, Minesite Forum, Mine Snooper and Proactiveinvestors.com amongst others.
