Update: it appears the total recoverable resource base is 6bn barrels, 35% to Opti, so each share controls 7 barrels. On that basis, I am happy to pay $1.50 for the right to control 7 barrels, even with all the caveats. Of course, for sound risk management, the % of Opti in one's portfolio should be capped at 10%. I personally have 8% of the portfolio in Opti, at a cost of $1.60/share.
