I hearken back to Ajit Manocha's prominent Empire Club seat next to Jonathan Rosenberg (advisor to Google Founder and CEO Larry Page) and Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt.

To me, Google and Apple are not really competing companies, but potentially complimentary. I know Apple has Safari as its proprietary search engine. But I can't help but think both can actually benefit from one another.

Which brings me back to our leader sitting next to two of the most influential men, in one of tech's most influential companies. Why was he there? The key-note speakers 100% choose the head table.
