One further point to add to my last post in the context of shareholder activism.  

Management have previously emphasised the concept of platinum investors as a class of investor they wish to attract.  It now seems clear to me that they don't want to talk to retail, as has occurred in the past viz THM etc... This is because of the sense of activism they feel and it's dangers. Hence all these little policy tweaks and new risk references in M&D.

I would say they see themselves in the future talking to the indudtries principle financial players in loftier terms than they would to us little guys..This actually might be a good sign of maturity as much as we feel offended by this nose turning arrogance.
