Is it possible that the Prospectus Supplement is in preparation for something like this?

If a large future user of POET's technology wants to help their liquidity to ensure POET's ability to deliver, could they do it by buying into this prospectus? Liquidity for POET, and maybe a board seat for the investing company to allow them to keep an eye on things. 

Here is the instance I think of where ASML bought 24.9% of Carl Zeiss SMT. Both had world-beating tech in a capital-intensive, long payoff sector of the semiconductor supply chain, akin to what POET has.
