One of my favourite posts from our former resident mining expert (probably got impatient and invested in something like NOT or GCR)... I beleive that our day will come.

Very few times in my mining career have I heard of grab sample as high as PLE is pulling from the high grade lenses.
As far as possibilities at a deeper level? Well, if the high grade lenses are .5 to 2 meters in width and there are several lenses
Madbiker....
Could you kindly explain what is this lenses all about...? Geology isn't my major...lol...
Thanks...famar

It is rare for a company to find lenses of gold mineralization as high grade as PLE found on their Peruvian property. Normally high grade mineralization in gold finds are 2- 20 g/t.
Let me put it this way! Hemlo is one of the biggest gold finds ever discovered. At one time Hemlo was the largest, richest and had some of the highest grade gold lenses anywhere in the world. The average g/t over nearly 100 millions tonnes of ore was about 7-8g/t.
Currently, PLE's grab samples are 350 g/t or more! That is Red Lake quality grab samples!
As for what lenses are: Let me start by saying a vein is a thin ribbon of high grade gold that snakes through a lense. A lense is a bigger slice of gold bearing ore that usually contains thousands of tonnes (maybe even millions) and usually cuts through the host rock on a certian degree which varies from zone to zone. There may be one huge lense in a orebody or several lenses. Try to picture it this way: A lense is a like the marbling in a big ole rib steak. LOL. However, most of the time, lenses are fairly uniform and is mining friendly (for the most part) depending on what the mix of other mineralization contained therein. Gold is mostly associated with softer mineralization such as diabase dykes, etc..
PLE has discovered several high grade lenses in the host rock to date. But, as I mentioned earlier, the most exciting part is the host rock (Volcanics) also contain low grade ore which is the clincher. It is the clincher because all the rock can be mined as ore instead of having to mine huge waste lenses in order to reach the ore lenses. This sometimes kills a mining company because the cost of mining waste outweighs the profit in recovering the ore lenses. There are lots of juniors finding high grade lenses but, they are narrow and contain low tonnage. Not feasible to mine. PLE has high low grade tonnage between the high grade lenses and that is what investors should be looking for in a junior. Huge potential with PLE in my opinion.
This is a little long , for that I apolgize...Mad
