Called Guy and he answered after one ring. I would like to think he knows my number by now. ;-) I will start with the humorous part.
- Apparently he saw some of the locals walking around with copies of Agoracom and Stockhouse postings talking to each other. Too funny. Everybody wave...¡Hola!
-Anyway, for that reason I can not say too much but be assured that the forthcoming news should be good. By news and by forthcoming, I mean think positive. VERY positive. The word "soon" had some numbers attached to it. He would like to put out a NR but obviously this would be a bad time to do that.
- The Newmont news relates to the Rio Blanco copper/moly project in the Piura highlands and does not have much bearing on the Bolsa Del Diablo situation. Plexmar had a undisclosure with Newmont for years (read into that what you will). I am guessing the Yanacocha mine.
- The IP survey was not completed and they may not pursure it. They have enough info to know the hot spots. They do not need it to drill anyway.
- Plexmar have had 5 geologists working in BdD and Escondida projects for the last 3 months.
- As for Escondida, they have been in contact with the government and are just waiting for the November 4 date for the new Mining Law to be officially published before starting negotiations.
- Plexmar/Escondoro will not be holding on to all of the concessions In Ecuador (there were too many anyway) and will only keep those of value.
- News about Ucucha will be in the next NR.
- Lima listing: translations to Spanish being done and will likely be timed to other news.
- Contrary to some reports...yes, they are allowed on the property. There were some issues in a certain area before but all is well now.
Hope that helps.
