I disagree about tax increases scaring people away. What will scare people away is uncertainty, protest and violence? The tax increase will be ploughed back into the community. This is not going to be just tax increases. The new President owes his victory to the poor and marginalized and this is a step in the right direction to address their needs. Communities are hesitant to give their blessing to drill and mine because they do not trust the foreign mining companies. This will all start to change.

But you know what really scares investors off? It is having a leader like Bedard at the helm of a company.
