Promoter Group will be installed facing the problem of illegal metal mining in the Piura Region
Installation will take place on Friday 02 September at nine o'clock in the headquarters of the Regional Government.
This was formalized by resolution No. 807-2011 Regional Executive / Regional Government of Piura, PR Aug. 25.
It comprises representatives of the Regional Management of Natural Resources and Environmental Management, Economic Development and Planning, Budget and Planning Conditioning, Office of Institutional Image, Regional Directorates of Energy and Mines and Health.
Also involved the Health Sub region, Luciano Castillo Colonna, Water Management Authority Jequetepeque - Zarumilla, Special Prosecutor on Environmental and APOGORE, independent agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
The measure is taken after eight months of regional management, after a multidisciplinary team convened by the Management of Natural Resources, conducts regular meetings, and raising the issue diagnosis as an alternative the creation of a Technical Working Committee involving all actors involved in the issue.
In this respect the regional manager of Natural Resources, Andres Vera Córdova reported that a merit of the resolution has been completed invitation to the holders of the entities mentioned in it to begin work on forming a Board of Management and design Agency an agenda to implement management tools designed to minimize and eliminate adverse effects caused by the illegal and informal mining
