A perfect example of how a sure thing can really be knocked off the rails by a bolt of blind luck. The Red Wings vs Penguins game last night went into a 4th overtime period and within a few minutes a Detroit high stick cut a Pittsburgh player on the chin and caused a 4 minute penalty. Even Don Cherry thought this game would be a slam dunk for the Wings and so did most commentators, yet fate decided otherwise, the Penguins scored and they won despite the odds beings totally against them. We shall see if they can pull off another miracle this week in the next game. As for our beloved Plexmar meeting this coming Sunday, the odds look very favourable, but fate is notoriously fickle, I give it 60/40 in favour of a positive outcome. Good luck to all, zom.
