* Mr. Faucher is a professional engineer trained in metallurgical engineering (Université Laval, Québec City) who first joined Noranda in 1971.
* During his career with Noranda and Falconbridge he held senior management and executive positions as vice-president of the Brunswick Mining & Smelting division of Noranda Inc., and as President and general manager of Falconbridge Dominicana, a laterite nickel complex in the Dominican Republic which employed a staff of 2,400 and consisted primarily of a mine, an oil and metals refinery, and a 200 megawatt power generation plant.
* After leaving Noranda, Mr. Faucher has been involved in the development of several other mining projects, including as President and Chief Operating Officer of Princeton Mining, during a $140 million prospectus financing and the construction of the copper-gold Huckleberry Mine project located in British Columbia.
