Prize Mining Corporation Issues Shares Under Option Amending Agreement

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Jan. 22, 2009) - Prize Mining Corporation ("Prize") (TSX VENTURE:PRZ) announces that it has issued 200,000 common shares to Lenard Diduck pursuant to the Option Amending Agreement dated January 15, 2009. The common shares are subject to a four month hold period that expires on May 23, 2009. For further information on the Option Amending Agreement, please refer to the press release of Prize dated January 15, 2009 filed on SEDAR.
