Prize Mining Corp.: Corporate Update; Option Agreement Payment and Shareholders Meeting

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - April 16, 2009) - Prize Mining Corp. (TSX VENTURE:PRZ) announces that the $200,000 option payment due to Lenard Diduck under the Option Agreement dated October 16, 2003, as amended, has been made. Please refer to Prize's news releases dated January 15, 2009 and January 22, 2009 for additional information. In addition, Prize's upcoming shareholders' meeting has been re-scheduled to Friday, May 15, 2009.
