Prize Mining Corporation: Annual General and Special Shareholders' Meeting Update

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 20, 2009) - Prize Mining Corporation (TSX VENTURE:PRZ) ("Prize") is pleased to announce the results of the Annual General and Special Meeting of the shareholders of Prize held on May 15, 2009. At the meeting, Feisal Somji, A.J.H. (Harry) McGucken, Brian Farrell, Tim Bergen and Dr. Wayne Savigny, were elected as the board of directors for the upcoming year. In addition to the annual resolutions including the re-appointment of Davidson & Company as the auditors, a resolution was passed re-approving the existing stock option plan as required by the TSX Venture Exchange.
